A group of horsemen, spearmen and the boy with a dog who accompanied Saul on the road to Damascus.
Saul has turned aside with arms outstretched towards the sudden light which shines about him.
Jesus, who calls to Saul, is depicted at the top of the centre light.
The first of two medallions shows the young Saul at the feet of Gamaliel, and the other shows St Paul preaching in the midst of Mars' Hill at Athens.
