| The Children's Window The south window above the font. In the centre light Jesus is shown as a young man. In the left hand light the Blessed Virgin Mary presents a girl to Christ. In the right hand light St. Nicholas presents a young boy to Christ. The lower
medallions show St. Mary's church surrounded by madonna
lilies, and a Thames barge encircled by winkle, whelk and
cockle shells. The centre medallion bears the inscription
'Given by the children in 1938'. |
