The South Porch

The south porch, contructed at about the same time as the tower, has the embattled parapet of stone and flint chequer work which is an architectural feature of the church.

The porch has an upper storey, entered from a stairway inside the church, and is a small chapel dedicated to St. Michael and St. George.

Four stained glass panels were installed in the porch windows as war memorials. Rolls of Honour recording the names of those from the parish who fell in the two world wars are contained within the porch.
