On the east wall to the south of the altar stands the banner of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This is a modern replacement in fine needlework of the earlier banner. It shows the angel Gabriel and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
'ECCE ANCILLA DOMINI' translates as 'Behold the handmaid of the Lord'.

In this picture can also be seen one of the riddel posts beside the altar surmounted by an angel bearing a candlestick.
